PLACE OF A WOMAN IN HOME? IF NOT WHY?

In our society it has been remain an issue for a women working outside in the various fields. Most of the people are having a school of thought that the women should not work outside they should be confined in their homes and they think that only men are suppose to do this job.
I strongly disagree with the thinking that the place of women is in their homes. Because the women should be treated equally as they are having the equal rights. There should be an equal freedom for the men and women to educate themselves as well as to utilize what they have. Obviously, if one is educated or has any skills then he/she should also be utilizing that, otherwise what was the purpose of their being educated or skilful?
Women who are the working professionals are having more positivity in their lives as compared to the women sitting in their homes thinking of so many negative thoughts as they are having much idle time to do so. There are fewer chances of brawling and useless discussions as they know how to manage and tackle things in a better way, working woman would know what are the problems associated while working so she could better understand things. I think women are more responsible and capable, we can see many examples in today’s world of the successful women working in the offices and other fields as well as supporting their family in a better manner.
Keeping in view the critical economic situation of our country, we should encourage women to work and participate side by side with men for the progress of our country. They should be encouraged for supporting their families. Now a day, in most of the big cities in Pakistan we can see women working in different fields and people have somehow transformed their mentality and they are thinking positively that there is need of women to work. But unfortunately this mentality lacks in the rural and especially in the tribal areas.
Women in today’s era are working efficiently in different fields participating in the social, economical, political etc structure of the country. They are working as doctors, engineers, teachers, officers etc. Women are serving in Pakistan army since its foundation. We are proud to say that Pakistan is the only country in the Islamic world to have female Major Generals in the Army. According to a recent report, the number of women in bureaucracy has increased over the last few years. In the CSS examination 2005, 42 women were participated in 34th Common Training Programme. In 2006, more than 30 women allocated in 35 training programmes and in 2007, 59 women were allocated in 36 programmes. Among 59 female candidates, 15 are assigned to the District Management Group, 12 to the Income Tax, three to the Police Service of Pakistan, 6 to Foreign Service of Pakistan, three to Customs and the rest have been assigned to other occupational groups.
Hence women should not sit back at homes as they are having equal rights to do work which is beneficial and progressive for our country also helpful in maintaining balance in life.
